How about I submit a more extensive patch set that checks the source 
tree and changes /etc/sendmail.cf to use the sendmail_enable variable.  
I'm not particularly fond of the idea of having program specific stuff 
hardwired into FreeBSD's boot process.  Objections?  -sc
