That was Dell's default if someone ordered Linux too, Nvidia has 
been real responsive (considering) when it came to making available 
the drivers both in rpm and tar forms, I just think the were caught 
somehwhat off gaurd by the differences in the Unix's.  You know how 
it is, some people think just because it's a tarball and it 
installs on Linux it'll install on everything from HP-UX to Solaris 
to [Free|Net|Open]BSD.  I was actually no different in the 
beginning, hell I still give any tarball the "ol college try!"
