I replaced sendmail on a "lightly used" (5000+ messages a week) mail server at a small office. It installed flawlessly....and has been working great for the past month. Extremely impressed. There was a some noise on tone of the list about not using it on a shell machine but since the mail servers I've put postfix on are not shell machines I never looked into it.
