I would think you'll be able to do 1280x1024 when you are NOT using the
LCP display.  At work we have a bunch of Toshiba 46(7)0 that ran Winslow$
95, and it only displays 1280x1024 in a virtual desktop mode.

I am pretty sure the chipset supports 1280 mode if you use a REAL SVGA
monitor.  You didn't say whether you use an external display.
