i also use the OSS drivers and have had no problems
with mp3s (save the fact that x11amp is VERY buggy
and has caused me to lockup and reboot on its own
before, and the amp that comes with 2.2.6. release in
the ports collection doesnt work at all for some
other reason) mpg123 works fine for me and has never
caused any problems. btw my sound card is an ESS1868
PnP (sb pro compatible)
