Huh? That would be a mistake if it happened. But it isn't:

j@uriah 159% nslookup cvsup.de.freebsd.org
Server: uriah.heep.sax.de
Address: 0.0.0.0

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: ftp.ecrc.net
Address: 62.208.224.162
Aliases: cvsup.de.freebsd.org

j@uriah 160% nslookup cvsup.uk.freebsd.org
Server: uriah.heep.sax.de
Address: 0.0.0.0

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: cvsup.plig.net
Address: 195.40.6.42
Aliases: cvsup.uk.freebsd.org

cvsup.de.freebsd.org is a cname for cvsup5.de.freebsd.org, which is a
cname for ftp.ecrc.net.
