I've never used DOS to install FreeBSD on a computer! (Of course, I've got a Sun at work which I use to create the BOOT Disk and the FIXIT disk). As long as you have a method of creating the boot disk (i.e. another PC or a workstation with a 3.5" floppy) you can just create the boot disk and then boot it and follow the std instructions! My PC at home hasn't had DOS on it anywhere in over 5 years! ---- Stephen F.
