Hello there; I setup a system with -Current and an AMD-K6 3D processor. I noticed that the clock was running (about twice the speed of time :-) I used sysctl to change kern.timecounter.hardware from ACPI to i8254 and now all is well. Even the kernel: microuptime() went backwards (2855.058761 -> 2850.689019) messages are gone. Questions: Is there a variable on the kernel to force kern.timecounter.hardware=i8254 ?
