Jim:

I'm pretty sure Theo is right on this one.  Two separate users on one
machine, and both subscribed to this list, each received the messages from
the "Cron Daemon" this morning.  I'd have to check into it, but I've seen
this happen before when a message of a certain format is resent.

Hope this helps to clear up some confusion...
