Usually the default devices (like audio, dsp, mixer, etc) get symbolically
linked to the devices you last created, so probably you want to
cd /dev && sh MAKEDEV snd1

The devices beginning with dsp0 should be those that work with the driver
pcm0.  Neither pcm0 (or pcm1) or snd0 or snd1 will appear in /dev as a 
device.  To see the list of devices, man pcm.
