Well, we call them `slices' (although you don't want a swap slice, but
rather a swap partition inside the BSD slice).

j@uriah 218% echo '1054*1024*2' | bc
2158592

Makes slightly more than 2 * 1E6 sectors at all.  You've tried to
assign 2059140 sectors to the `c' partition of the BSD slice which,
by definition, covers the entire BSD slice.  This would leave only

j@uriah 220% echo '(2158592-2059140)/(1024*2)' | bc
48

MB for your MSDOS slice, i doubt this is the truth.
