As Thomas Arnold wrote: > Is there a FAQ or a "Getting Started with Current for People who Really > Shouldn't but need a new feature badly" text available??? With a bit of care and hand-munging your /etc files, you should be able to bootstrap by installing the new source, compile and install the new config, configure and install a new kernel, then run a ``make world''. If you are paranoid, run it in single-user mode only. (I don't, though i have to live with things like a broken ps(1) during the compilation.) -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
