It is related, though I am also not sure it is SCSI issue. "AutoSense
failed" means that CAM and umass were unable to get detailed information
about error. Without that information CAM subsystem can't adequately
handle it.

We need more information about the problem. Try to reproduce the problem
after booting with verbose kernel messages or enabling it via
debug.bootverbose sysctl. If it won't give much - you may rebuild kernel
with `options CAMDEBUG` and enable some debugging via `camcontrol debug`.
