Great. Now we're growing a base system full of utilities that will accept (and apparently use, who knows?) undocumented command-line options. The -w option should be documented until such time as sysctl(8) does not accept it as a valid option. I suspect that if people understood how much work goes into deprecating features, they'd think twice about gratuitous changes. :-( Ciao, Sheldon.
