Hello,

When I installed FreeBSD 4.6 I opted for Linux compatibility to be =
installed.

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with using the Linux =
port of SUN JDK/JRE 1.3 on a FreeBSD system.

I have tried compiling some simple programs with it and with the =
exception of getting "expr: syntax error" whenever I run "java" or =
"javac" the programs run fine.

I look forward following on from the recent announcement for a pure =
FreeBSD port of JDK 1.4

Regards

Lee
