I've been looking around at all the x86 networking solutions based off UN*X: FreeBSD, BSDi, Solaris x86, Linux, and none of them seem to support the S3 ViRGE chipset found in the Diamond Stealth 3D-2000 video card. Is this because none of the web pages have been updated to reflect this change and that most of them HAVE indeed written drivers for it, or is it that it is such a minor superset of the S3 Trio64V+ that it would suffice to use those drivers? Solaris x86 did not install in my system with any of the predefined S3 drivers (including the 868 or 968, Trio32, Trio64 or Trio64V+ drivers), so I'm not sure if they would be any different. I'm curious as to whether ANY of those solutions support that video card, and if not, the estimated time to release. -- <=---------------------------------------------------------------=> JR Law law@ohio.ebay.sun.com x34969 "Cynical?
