i don't know if this is a known problem or not. i searched the PR database but couldn't find anything: certain ports apply flags (noschg e.g.) not during installation but right away in their working directory. misc/compat4x is one example. when doing "make clean" the working directory gets deleted properly. when doing `portsclean .C` instead portsclean is unable to delete the working directory since it trips over the noschg flag. cheers. alex
