Just to beat a dying horse...


PERC 3/Di are/were shipped with the Dell PowerEdge 2500 boxen (I use 3 at
work, 2 with FreeBSD) and, as of the July 21 SNAP release, the 3Di
controller is supported.  (in kernel it's the aac device)
