i have amd k5 100 processor running 3.0-RELEASE. everything worked fine when
i ran 2.2.6, but now the timer is broken. for example:
when i do `sleep 2` in shell it sleeps forever, but when the system load
is high it works fine..
i searched the sources but i'm not skilled enough to fiddle with the kernel.
if you have time to fix it, it would be nice :)
