Are tape drives supported with the Mylex DAC RAID controllers? I have
been unable to get it to work or find anything about tape drives in
the mlx documentation?

If they are not supported, is it likely to be in the future? Is anybody
working on this?

I'm running FreeBSD 4.6 on i386 hardware.

The RAID controller firmware sees the tape drive fine.

Here's the scoop on my RAID controller:
