First off, DON'T TOP POST!  It totally looses context.

Doug, I assume the MSI (and later Tyan) statments are general statements
and not AMD64 specific as the S2510/S2518 aren't Opteron boards.

The MSI-9131 is an OK board.  It is the board used in the IBM e325
server.  Its downfall is it is a 4+2 DIMM implimention.

Switching to Tyan, which particular model?  Tyan makes many Opteron
boards.
