running the dmesg recently compiled from a cvsup'd source tree, i get the
following message:

dmesg: bad magic number

The kernel is compiled with the same source tree.

Ayone have any ideas what this could mean? Is /dev/kmem slightly screwed?
How could i test/fix this?

Thanks,
Mit
