No, PCIC is bus controller, like SCSI controller. So, bus side is
PCCARD, but controller side is bus depend device, ISA, PCI, ...
So, same matter with SCSI.

"treat the PCIC as an ISA device" is first step, like wd
driver. PCI native driver is second step.
