This is probably a really lousy idea anyway, but I'd like to know if
a kernel build with -fomit-frame-pointer will work ok. I know the
implications of using this in userland code (and of course I could
just try it and see, but I don't really want to take the time to
make a wonky kernel). Anybody know whether this is legal?
