>Description:
Manufacturer: HP
Model: Pavilion dv8135nr (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00585596&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&y=6&x=5&dlc=en&product=1818492)
Chipset/Socket: ATI Technologies Inc
Submitter: Scot Hetzel (swhetzel@gmail.com)
Tested FreeBSD Versions: 6.1-RELEASE, 6.1-STABLE thur 6.2-Beta2, 7.0-CURRENT

 Notes:
This Laptop will not boot correctly from a FreeBSD/amd64 install CD (tried 6.1-RC, and 6.2-Beta2 boot CDs), as the boot loader crashes, and continuosly spams the display with unreadable hex dump. To install FreeBSD/amd64 on this laptop you will need to press the spacebar until the system beeps or when you see "/boot/kernel/kernel". The system has no problems booting off the Hard Drive.

Currently there are only a couple of devices that are not supported by native FreeBSD drivers:

ndis0: <Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter> mem 0xc0204000-0xc0205fff irq 21 at device 2.0 on pci6
