Hi!

I have just received 4.1R cdroms and I wanted to install it on top of my
4.0R.

I booted the first CD, changed the keyboard and selected upgrade.
Then I choosed bin, man, doc, lib and XFREE, give the partitions the
correct label.

When the machine reboot, the kernel panic (priviliged instrution) with
current process as swapper.

If boot selecting kernel.prev (4.0R), it boot quite right.

I wanted to know if there were some reports (a query with 4.1 and panic
on freebsd-questions does not give me expected results) about 4.1R
faulting.

To summarize:
Proc: Pentuim 166MMX
MB: intel with i430VX (somethinh like that)
4.0R-GENERIC: OK
4.1R-INSTALL from CDROM: OK
4.1R-GENERIC: panic

Any advice, pointers and help is welcome.

Phil.
