Maybe the problems are related to one (or more) of the following:
   - Switched vs. Analog regulators (analogs may not have enough current
     while switched can be noisy).
   - 2.8 vs 2.9 V core on the K6 200
   - Electrolytic Caps! (I'm sorry - I couldn't resist.)
   - Different K6 "revisions" (does anybody have some hard facts on
this one?)
   - Different BIOS revisions (not just K6 support, but working K6
support).

Or maybe they just suck. I sure hope not since the price cuts are still
moving along on both Intel and AMD parts. I'm not sure if Intel would
be so
aggressive in its pricing without AMD nibbling at its toes :-)

For those who don't already know - Intel yesterday cut their CPU prices
an
average of 50% while AMD announced a 55% reduction. Competition is
great
for consumers.
