I'm > leaving in a frew days :) FWIW, I'm seeing the exact same problem, starting right after trying out portindex for the first time. Removing /usr/ports/INDEX-5, /usr/ports/INDEX.db, and running make fetchindex seems to fixed the problem. Craig
