This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00E9_01BE21B8.8FD5B8C0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I seem to be having a problem with the name server on my FreeBSD 2.2.7 machine I am running a domain server on my machine ... but when I run nslookup = (no parameters), it comes up with the correct server name, but it shows the address as = 0.0.0.0 On the other hand, when I type: bash# nslookup - mail.cyberplaneta.net What I get is: *** Can't find server name for address 207.249.209.9: Server failed *** Default servers are not available ...and it falls back to the prompt. Yet, as I said before, when I run nslookup without any parameters it goes to the default localhost (which = is the same as the mail machine) fine. The above machine is not registered = with internic yet but appears in /etc/hosts. The machine is listed in the = zone db file as well. Thanks to everyone in advance!!
