I recently bought a Toshiba 415CS - $3300ish.  Not cheap, but has the 
requisites... P90, 8Mb memory and 776Mb disk, 800x600x256 monitor.
Runs FreeBSD just fine, and XFree86 is OK, once you add the extra 8Mb.
