Ask someone smarter, much smarter even,
than me.  You do mean "Same error during
make build_world_, don't you (or do you?)

Brainstorming brings a couple of possibilities to
mind.

a.  the version of make you are using is outdated,
a part of the 3.2R environment, and has trouble
with the 4.x world it's installing....

b.  Your make is linked to a GNU make 'stead of
 a FBSD one....

Neither seems particularly likely, and as I said, I'm
NO expert.  However, I've built -STABLE 3 times
in the last 14 days, with no issues except a problem
with using mergemaster on too little sleep.....
