There is complex rules to build .info files, more complex than manpages. There can be some rules to build .texi page itself. Targets can have many source files from different directories. It looks not nice to keep all source files into one directory, this directory becomes complete mess after it. Current info directory is more readable to determine what docs available in it. -- Andrew A.
