Btw, here is the output of "mono --version": Mono JIT compiler version 1.0, (C) 2002-2004 Novell, Inc and Contributors. www.go-mono.com TLS: normal GC: Included Boehm (with typed GC) SIGSEGV : normal Globalization: ICU As the globalization line indicates, I previously installed devel/icu2-2.8 for i18n support in Mono. I doubt that this is the source of the problem, though. -Jake
