Provided that answers about system programming(on the level of POSIX
system call) are not considered as being off-topic(see my mail with Sub:
"understanding timing" and answer by Mr Oliver Fromme : Re:"Are my
messages willingly ignored?")What you be so kind as give me some pointers
to mailing list/mailing lists dedicated to system programming under UNIX
(all flavours).We have somehow poor connection to USENET(quirks of our
sysadmin).So comp.unix.os is not what I expect;).Please mailing lists
