During the entire time this PR has been open, there has been a parallel effort to make a port for this software, ports/43956. That one is both a) older, b) has been updated to a more recent version than this port, since, and c) the submitter has been heard from more recently. So I'm reluctantly going to close this one with our apologies for having had you duplicate that work.
