Oooops!  You're exactly right...  <sheepish grin...>
I just remembered that PNPBIOS is a *kernel config* option...

Hmmm, maybe it would be a Good Idea to document these "interactions"
sometime, perhaps in /usr/src/release/texts/<arch>/INSTALL.TXT
(& relevant READMEs)?

Example question:  How do I determine how to set my "PnP
OS" BIOS option?
