Hi, Today I tried to install FreeBSD 3.1 on my small alpha system. It failed ;-( I copied the kern.flp and mfsroot.flp (with fdwrite) to two floppies. I booted the kern.flp and it asked for the mfsroot.flp, so far no problem. Then I get to chose the kind of display I am on (which is an xterm via cu, so I chose ANSI). Then the trouble starts; Labeling the disks somehow failes (it does not say why) and as a result the filesystems don't get mounted. The install still tries to proceed (although it woun't work). The system previously had a netbsd boot block and freebsd 3.0 (pre release) installed. Can anyone explain me what I am doing wrong?
