Hi,

is there a possibility to have splash as the pdf backend for evince?
it seems splash is better than cairo (cairo renders slowly, it renders
falsely etc etc; see eg here

http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler-bugs/2007-August/001220.html

the problem seems to be with poppler-gtk. while poppler compiles fine
without cairo, it is the poppler-gtk that does not seem to acknowledge
the WITHOUT_CAIRO switch in poppler's Makefile.

is there a way to fix this?

thanks, karu
