Where can I find out more about the origin and history of VKERN, the virtual server kernel used by zillions of web-hosting companies? It doesn't appear to be a standard variation of FreeBSD, so someone somewhere must have cooked it up. I don't intend to run it myself, but my Web site runs under it, so I am curious about it.
