I had = no problems during installation but when I went to boot after = installation It started to boot normally but when it went to mount root = it gave me an error Panic: can not mount root. I rebooted the system = and at the boot prompt I typed wd(2,a)kernel, when I hit enter i got a = message like Error: D:0x82 C:0 H:0 S:0. I have had this problem since = version 2.2.6 came out. I have tried recompiling the kernel changing = the kernel on device option to wd2, as well as a few other solutions I = read on the newsgroups. I have not been able to get a successfull = installation on mt machine. I have included my machine configuration = below. I had exahsted all my other recources I hope you can help me. = Thank you for your help.
