Also, after some more thinking...

How can I build i386 without floppies now?  I use this feature
sometimes, when I know I won't need floppies, or there are
other problems with the floppies creation.  This is even
documented in the release(7) manpage:

: NO_FLOPPIES           If defined, no boot and fixit floppy disk images
:                       will be created (i386-only).
