Hi all...

We all know 'vidcontrol 132x43' will put the console in 132x43 mode, and if
you've ever tried it you know how ugly it looks. A friend of mine who's using
Linux showed me a program called 'SVGATextMode', which allows him to change
the number of lines/cols of the console without getting this ugly effect, by
using SVGA mode of the card. I've done a quick search but was unable to find
similar programs for FreeBSD (SVGATextMode does not compile, it's looking for
linux headers).

Can anyone tell me more (is there a patch for SVGATextMode to run on FreeBSD,
or an alternate system)?
