Hello,

I have a static IP address.. but how they set it up on my windows
machine it looks like it DHCP. If you are running FreeBSD are you
setting a gateway and ip address right in your rc.conf. I have the
motorla cyber Surfer. @home service.

ifconfig_ed1="inet 24.2.64.103 netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="24.2.64.1"

Thanks
RPD

I've got a cable modem using @Home and I don't need DHCP. I was assigned
a
static IP. Are you _sure_ you need DHCP?
