I am running FreeBSD 3.1 on a Dell Latitude CPi laptop. Also, FreeBSD is =
installed
on the c:\ drive along with W98.

When I login I cannot access the cdrom drive through the /cdrom mount =
point.
I tried various forms of the mount command, but was unsuccessful.
(I don't remember the exact commands I tried). However, I was able to =
mount
the cdrom by modifiying /etc/fstab and removing the noauto statement =
then executing

mount -a

Can someone instruct me on how to properly mount the cdrom from the =
command
line without changing fstab.
In addition, I need to mount the floppy drive. I have tried various =
forms of the following

mount /dev/fdc0 /dos

with no luck.

I have read several online docs, but either I am missing something or =
the process is
not a simple as the docs imply.

Sharing...
I am also interested in sharing FreeBSD files with my W98 OS. I have =
attempted to create
an extended (logical) partition that both OS's can read, but have had no =
luck.
When I create an extended partition with PartitionMagic and create a =
logical drive
within that partition, the drivemapper within the BSD install only sees =
the extended
partition and labels it as unknown. Therefore I am unable to set a mount =
point from here.

Has someone done this before. If it is not possible, what are my other =
options to share
data between W98 and FreeBSD?

Thanks
