Darren, you've hit the wrong forum, Windows installation is off-topic on FreeBSD lists. Please ask the vendor (either Asus or Microsoft; I'd think I'd suggest trying the first one first) for support. Other than that, FreeBSD has a SiI 3112 driver, but the hardware isn't to well-reputed and the common recommendation is to get something else as PCI card; for details on the hardware capabilities, Jeff Garzik's Linux oriented pages at <http://linux.yyz.us/sata/> can shed some light on this issue. Ignore the "libata driver status" lines, they apply to Linux exclusively. Jeff's site mentions that 3112 and 3114 have no command queueing support. BTW, I found answers to questions 1 to 7 at <http://linux.yyz.us/sata/faq-sata-raid.html> particularly elucidating. -- Matthias Andree
