Gee, I'm on MCI and I've been quite surprised lately; my connections to 
WC never fail and always seem to be reasonably fast...  I kind of LIKE 
having others come through Sprint - improves MY performance!! :->  BTW, 
from my office network to WC is 8 hops, 3 of which are internal to the MAE.
