i am setting up a local lan where my freebsd machine will route packets
for other machines on my local
network

how do i assign new ip#'s to the other interface card i have on the
freebsd machine and the other machines?

freebsd machine (has 2 interfaces)
fxp0 --> out to internet
x10 <-- incoming from local machines (neeeds an ip#)

local machine #1 (needs an ip#)

i know you can create these ip numbers with the subnet mask.

thanks
