My machine:

FreeBSD penguin 4.1.1-STABLE FreeBSD 4.1.1-STABLE #2: Thu Oct 19 11:28:20 CEST 2000     runge@penguin:/usr/src/sys/compile/PENGUIN  i386

So, it's a quite recent stable.
