IIRC, 2.6 kernel supports mounting of UFS. Was able to do so with
Knoppix livecd with 2.6. Don't know what to do in case of 2.4 though.
Don't remember the exact thing righht now, but you can find details in
manual page of man. Look for ufs and ufstype (44bsd).
