Sure it is.

Now.. what is the output of 'make -V OSREL'?  If it is not '4.3',
have you explicitly set OSREL somewhere in your make.conf or environment?
If so, why?

If you have not explicitly set OSREL, find out what makes bsd.port.mk
think that OSREL is not 4.3.. what does your 'uname -r' output?
